KARACHI: Contrary to all government claims sugar price has been increased by Rs1 to Rs48.50/kg in wholesale market.
According to the wholesale market sources, sugar mills owners are supplying the commodity for Rs47.60/kg instead of Rs44.75/kg.
On the other hand Chairman of All Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (APSMA) Iskander Khan claimed that sugar mills are providing the commodity for Rs45/kg.
