LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Tuesday called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed national political situation, overall law and order condition including Malakand military operation and rehabilitation of Swat affectees.
Shahbaz Sharif visited the PM at the latter’s residence in Defence.
After a brief meeting, the PM left for his native area in Multan.
The PM said he would see Mian Nawaz Sharif on his return to homeland.
Both the leaders expressed pleasure that the Swat affectees celebrated Eid at their homes not at the camps.
The CM told that Punjab government provided the essential commodities including atta and sugar at cheaper rates during the holy month of Ramadan...link
