MANILA: Asia Development Bank (ADB) said in its report Sunday the raise in power tariffs is imperative so that the subsidy could be whittled down and circular debt eliminated.
According to report, the major cause of economic slump lies in power crisis; accordingly, the government will have to curtail power wastages and losses.
The reports said Pakistan is facing major challenges in the economic field and that the government of Pakistan will have to focus on the creating revenue, so that the projects regarding infrastructure and development could be taken along.
